They filed Chapter 7 which means shut-down and liquidation.  Selling all
assets.

If anyone wanted to open a tech shop-like facility, buying out a dead shop
for 10 cents on the dollar seems a good way to get started.    To an
outside observer it might look like the shop simply moved down the street
and down sized but legally it would be a new startup business even if many
of the same employees moved too.    In Chapter 7, I think even the name of
the business could go up for sale.  So they could even buy the storefront
sign.

That said, I'd sure hate to have to compete with a non-profit member owned
maker space.
