I have a small HMC that has a Fanuc PM 3 phase motor and drive to drive
the spindle.I am trying to get away from the original drive and go with
newer. This is for a Linuxcnc retro project.
Is there a VFD that works with a PM motor rather than a squirrel cage
type? Need spindle orientation also, the motor has an encoder.
