This plate I'll be working on later today might have a remaining rim 
5/16" thick, IMO a bit thin for best rigidity. I've thinned it at least 
30 thou just making it run true on this sprung spindle.

Looks like, in the 5th image, to be bigger than 6". Like maybe even over 
7".  And its plain, drill it myself, so I could easily make it fit this 
6.25" elderly Bison.

For $61.33 in a box on the chair seat just outside the front door, I am 
tempted.  Should I?
