Direct from China. Claim is delivery between 22May and 01Jun. I know I'll be able to plug it into the MACH3 CNC router and I've been looking at the LinuxCNC install. One claim is the display doesn't stay very up to date with the position. But then the problem with the internet forums is much of what is out there might be 2 to 10 years old. Or there's the typical set of questions and never a summary that the problem was fixed and how it was fixed.
It wasn't a lot of money and I'm not sure I want a ShuttleXpress for the mill. It's been great for the router and there is BeagleBone support for it. The computer and human interface side is still up in the air. I may find after trying to mill the first circle that the backlash makes the system unusable until I either do something with the bronze nuts or retrofit ball screws. And I want to use the flood coolant pump that came with this mill so that means a bit larger cabinet around everything.
