Of course something like that would work. There are MANY of these small form factor computers. But what is the goal? To save cubic inches in the shop? to save money? to save electrical power?
Until you have a stated goal you can't know what is "best". If what you are looking for is "compute power per dollar in a compact space" the buy an HP server in a 1U chassis that just came off lease. They will be about 4X more powerful and 1/2 the price of these mini-PCs. But they take up more cubic inches of space. It helps to actually write down the goals and then fill in a little table with specs from various proposed solutions. Choose the "best" from data you collected.
