Hi all,

A quick look at web sources seems to indicate that the EPP on some motherboards simply doesn't work.

In my case I'm having problems with a 7i43 -5i33.

Has anyone gotten the 7i43/5i33 to work with a D525 intel board? If so would you please share the magic incantations necessary.

The EPP mode on the D525 does work properly. You do have to set the port to EPP mode in the BIOS, standard address is 0x378. You MUST use an IEEE-1288 cable, a generic DB-25 cable does not have twisted pairs for the strobe lines, and crosstalk will foul up the communication. I have used it with my FPGA devices, not Mesa's, but I think the problems are the same.
