That box uses the 8i20, but it is otherwise the same, 2 smart-serial channels.
The RJ45 under the power inlet is the control for the soft-start relay
inside the box (controlled by HAL) and the fault outputs from the
drives.

Yes, 24V ans 5V supplies are in the main control box with the PC. That
is a separate unit that fits behind the headstock in the space vacated
by the original axis feed motor.
(The Holbrook Minor was an unusual lathe in that it had a feed shaft
in the conventional way, but it was driven by a variable speed motor
rather than being geared to the spindle.)
