Some times the mail is just slooooow. September 11 I bought a DVD on eBay from
a person in Van Nuys, California. 847 miles away. Estimated arrival date is
Monday, September 28. I think they strapped it to the back of a turtle and told
it to head straight north.
About a month ago I shipped a package to Australia. The last tracking had it
leaving Hong Kong sometime last week. IIRC I shipped that one before the last
one to the UK, which also took some days longer than usual.

But it turns out that the ebay vendor I ordered this from,
honestdentalshop, is the same person I bought that junker 6040 from, and
had to replace all the electronics with my own, at my expense before it
worked. Now he claims this motor is sitting in Chico CA, at the fedex
terminal. And he has apologized for the shipment delay. I gave him till
next Wednsdeay, 2 days past the estimated latest arrival date, to put it
in my hand else I was initiating a charge back. So much has happened to
me since that mills purchase that it wasn't until yesterday I realized I
was dealing with the same jerk again.
