Oh and from the readme file for the board.

The breakout board must have 2 power supply!
1.The USB cable is for 5V power, you can connect the computer usb port directly!
2.Need connect 12-24V power supply for inputs and 0-10V, for example, if you 
want to connect limit switches, emergency switches ect. and 0-10V function, you 
must connect a 12-24V power supply!
