As I suggested before, to avoid possible overlap with common NAT ranges, I
would
setup the RT link to use a 10.10.10.100 IP address on the host and set the
7I80
to use its EEPROM address (which defaults to 10.10.10.10)
I was not trying to ignore your suggestion.
You never said it defaults to 10.10.10.10 when the switches are set to use
the EEPROM address
in the original reply. Nor does the manual say this (I think).
I was trying to set the EEPROM address to 10.10.10.10 as you had
suggested.
But, now it works! Thanks for your help.
Ahh, the 7I80HD manual does not have that information, I will add it
Then
mesaflash --device 7I80 --addr 10.10.10.10 --readhmid
To check 7I80 reposnse
Also make sure you are using the latest mesaflash
I installed the latest yesterday
