Okaayy. Further playing, I've also enabled pwmgen.01, moving the enable and value settings to it, but I still can't find its outputs, which s/b on the BOB beside the 7i76. Where does its output go?. That zip has been installed on both of these 5i25-7i76 combo's. And on the GO704, which is what I am looking at to see how I did it, I am actually useing both pwmgens as I'm now useing 01 to drive the spindle and 00 to drive the A/B servo, so thats using stepgen-3's pins on the 7i76. But on this 6040 machine I'm useing stepgen-3 to run the 3 phase axis B. So it seems as if I ought to be able to use 01, which doesn't comeout of the 7i76, but should be findable on the BoB. But I can't find it with the halscope. So I'm obviously doing something wrong yet. But what? Thany you Peter. Take care & stay well.
