The main problem at the moment is that some critical components like the 2
stm32 are not available (as of today there is a delivery date 10.03.2023) The
stmbl uses some features of this stm controllers like the internet HIghspeed
comperators and Shunt opamps.
Hopefully there will be new stmbl as short as possible if the craziness of the
chip market will normalise and you have not to pay something like 45€ for a
stm32

Yes, the same style driver chip found in all the chinese drives too. A
27pin PDIP
I opened a Chinese drive up and it looked to be a text-book implementation
of one of these drivers. With very little noise suppression though.
