Indeed, the image works without problems; tunneling X-clients over ssh. The LinuxCNC displays work fine that way on wired eth... Just missing (me being lazy) tab-competion in the shell.

I've been using it to test a native SPI driver for the RPi5.


I think that the current images were built by RodW using: https://github.com/rodw-au/rpi-img-builder-lcnc
Which is a lot ahead of:
https://github.com/LinuxCNC/rpi-img-builder-lcnc
I don't immediately see any reference to rpi-eeprom-config in the codebase,so don't know how we can control the version.
I have no clue how this image builder works. That is why I sent it to the list ;-)
