Haha. I run a CNC machine shop in taranaki new Zealand
Lots of oil and gas here and a few factories etc. It's a full time gig. And pretty much all my machines run on linuxcnc. With the exception of a few that run fagor. I got 5 linuxcnc machines currently. All over 4.5 ton. The biggest is this one at 22 tons. I think my situation is a good example. You can definitely run a commercial machine shop out to make money on linuxcnc. The only thing that linuxcnc has been lacking really bad is the jerk control I think. Pretty much. Though I have a shopping list for other stuff I would like 😁 On Tue, 21 Jan 2025, 06:14 John Dammeyer, <jo...@autoartisans.com> wrote: > Very Cool.
