Oh, ok ... I was under the impression that SDL_ttf would actually render the font, instead of punting to the browser for a "best effort". Thanks for explaining that.
What's the bottleneck for integrating SDL2_mixer into emscripten? According to the person who made the referenced PR, it's supposed to be ready, so assuming that I wanted to help, I wouldn't really know where to start (and I think that's probably true for a lot of developers who might want to use that particular port).
