[***Moderators's note: We are receiving a lot of feedback on the proposed
agenda topics that were posted yesterday. We will incorporate all your
comments and suggestions when preparing the final agenda with the
timeframe. Below is an example of the kind of responses that Working
Group Members have been sending us.***]

Congratulations!

I'm really glad this working group will continue its work...I'll try to
contribute as much as I can.

Just a few words regarding the topics you propose:

1. There should be some prioritizing of the themes because there are issues
that need to be addressed almost immediately. For example, I believe there
should be a lot more discussion on what to do internationally and locally in
times of devastating political crises like the one facing the women of
Afghanistan, or the continuing murdering of young women in the border city
of Mxico.

I would like to have exchanges to elaborate a list of actions that are
considered a must, and maybe some suggestions regarding how to be more
effective in the support for the women affected.

2. I would like to have some exchanges regarding the communications
America-Europe; North-South; English-Spanish-French?, etc. I'm from Mxico
now living in Barcelona and find that there is very little knowledge
regarding the innovative projects on both sides of the Atlantic. I'm
convinced we could benefit from an exchange of this kind.

3. I would give a high priority to the issues regarding young women,
specially as to how they received the messages that we have been creating in
the last 25 years of struggle against gender violence. Sometimes I feel
(when I find so many young women trapped in a domestic violence situation)
quite frustrated and think that maybe we didn't find the vehicle to
communicate with them...

Congratulations again!
