Hi, dear friend, nice to have you back!

The concept of love is wide but I will make it short here. I believe
that real love implies understanding. Understanding does not
necessarily means agreeing, rather respecting. If we are talking about
a man/woman love relationship, no matter how different they are, if
they claim they love each other, the differences shall be respected
and they shall make all the effort it takes to make the relationship
work. So, replying to the first question, I think that there is
nothing to be chosen, if I am loved, I am understood.

The second question hides in itself another question: how do we deal
with our self-esteem, with our selfishness and pride?if we are happy
only by loving, it means we love to love. The object of our love is
love itself. The other person's importance is diminished by our
feeling of love. So we do not care whether we have a feedback or not.
On the other hand, if we are happy by being loved by someone else, we
care only about receiving love. So, in reply to the second question,
I would not be happy in any of these cases. :)

Best regards to you! Nice weekend!

Lil
