1. I've loved all my life, and always failed. It failed because
though there was a lot of love, there was a lack of understanding.
I won't say that always, the other person couldn't understand me. There is a
saying that if you start finding faults in everyone around you, you must
realise that the fault is in you.
I've hurt people, and offended them. I don't regret losing them and I pray
that they stay in happiness and peace. I regret giving so much pain to
others. Even today, I can't sleep sometimes, thinking of all that. I realise
that I could've been better.
My sadness, in the last days of my life, is not because I am alone, but
because I hurt and offended the persons, I loved most.
If I'd been better, tolerant, humane, considerate, ego-less and
understanding, I'd not have been sad.
2. I believe that when we start loving selflessly and
unconditionally, we don't have to think about being loved. When we give
love, love follows. It is more important to love, and it is more pleasant to
love.
I am alive, not because I am loved, but because I love.
