Hi Claire Edward Charles John Ed Elham Pablo Briana and all other
quiet members,;)
So nice to meet you,our newest or most active faces and
voices,Edward,Charles and John recently!!!
I have been watching TED(idea worth spreading),an inspirational site
provided by Pablo recently.
Here's one talk on endangered culture by Wade Davis,National
Geographic explorer.
I'd like to share the talk with all of you because it relates to this
thread started by Claire.
Don't worry too much about not understanding him because he does talk
very fast!LOL
There are 23 languages' translations as Pablo mentioned were provided
by volunteer translators.
So you can check their quality of translation while watching it!;)
Here you go:http://www.ted.com/talks/
wade_davis_on_endangered_cultures.html
I hope it will enlighten you one way or another as to raise our
awareness of how important minority languages and cultures are!!!
Great weekend,everyone!
