Hi Pln and all! I already watched the video. I didn't know or had forgotten very long ago, about The Tayronas (The Lost City), an indigenous people who weren't touched for the Spaniards during conquest times. It's a shame a don't know enough even about my own country! Well, here a link for some other interested from my country: http://www.sacredland.org/index.php/sierra-nevada-de-santa-marta/.
Well, tonight I watched this video: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/jay_walker_on_the_world_s_english_mania.html Could somebody please tell us if in oriental countries like China, English is taught like we see at the end of that video? I mean, in public parks or scenarios in front of crowds of students repeating phrases in unison? I wonder if that kind of strategy could work for numerous classes like the ones we usually have? (around 40 students per a single (poor) teacher).
