With all of these new means of communication it is easy to avoid real live conversations. That being said, I think the invent of the cell phone was one of the best inventions in my life time. I remember when my family used to have one phone in the house and we didn't have an answering machine. When one of us left the house that perosn could be anywhere. Meeting people out was a hit or miss activity. Now, with cell phones, you never miss anyone (unless you want to!)
