Ick. Thunderbird defaults to this and the pop-up text claims it will
"lose the HTML formatting" when I sign the message, so I didn't think
this immediately important to fix.

Trying again....

But just as I'm about to hit 'send', another question pops into my
head: Shouldn't I be signing as a MIME attachment? If so, I must be
doing something else wrong.
