Hello! I'm trying to use enigmail to encrypt my mail communication. So far everything is working really good. The only problem I have is not being able to store my mail permanently decrypted in my local thunderbird folders (I know I can "save as" but that's not what I want).
I'm thinking about writing a plug-in for thunderbird to scan local folders for encrypted messages and have them decrypted by enigmail and then saved back as a regular thunderbird mail file/folder so the (decrypted) mails are visible without any password or certificate. Do you think this would be a useful way of getting encrypted transmission of mails through the net but unencrypted storage in the local mail folders? I just don't want to be depending on a certificate file and a password I have to take care of and remember forever. Best regards, J.L. _______________________________________________ enigmail-users mailing list [email protected] https://admin.hostpoint.ch/mailman/listinfo/enigmail-users_enigmail.net
