I have over 20 years working on various open source projects. I wish we
lived in the world you describe, but we don't.
Or putting it more simply, Robert's right. If you don't understand why,
or if you just wish that things were different, you're entitled to that.
However you could save everyone else on the list a lot of time by not
continuing to argue. With all due respect, you simply don't have the
requisite knowledge or experience.
