I agree with this analysis. A public key isn't exactly an attached
document. A button indicating that the action was done on the right
of the signing button would be a nice feature.
On the other hand the visibility of a public key as a normal attached
file would lead many users to make errors. After thinking to the
complex cases implied (multiple identities, multiple drafts…) I
think that a feedback as basic as possible would be enough.
On the other hand, if no one ever asked for this feedback,
feel legitimate to forget it :).
