(Auto) saving drafts is a standard feature of Thunderbird. Enigmail is only involved somewhere in the middle of the process of creating the message - but not in the management of the message. I.e. storing, deleting, restoring etc. of drafts is completely in the hands of Thunderbird and unrelated to Enigmail. The only question here is: is this a Thunderbird or Gmail bug. -Patrick
