I'm pleased to announce the 2nd beta version of Enigmail 2.0.
Changes since Enigmail 2.0 Beta 1 --------------------------------- * Support for Pretty Easy Privacy (pEp) [1] is now available. The decision whether or not to use the pEp mode depends on how you configured your account settings: if neither Enigmail nor S/MIME are configured for any account, then pEp will automatically be enabled. If you use a new Thunderbird profile, pEp is active by default. As soon as Enigmail determines that pEp should be used, it downloads and unpacks the pEp binaries - currently available for Linux, Windows and macOS. To forcibly disable pEp, go to the Enigmail/pEp setting. To forcibly enable pEp, change the preference "extensions.enigmail.juniorMode" to 2 (using the "Config Editor"). * The translations were updated. The following languages are incompletely translated and need your help (in no particular order): Portugese, Chinese, Hungarian, Slowenian, Croatian, Korean, Norwegian, Russian, Chinese (Taiwan), Polish, Czech, Slovak, Greek, Finnish, Turkish, Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan. * Several bugs were fixed. Most importantly, editing encrypted drafts works again.
