Here, I add two issues just for closure and completeness. (1) Sticky settings: I think this one has already been dealt with but just in case it hasn't here it is. Sometimes, when a window is made sticky and in 'Remember...' the sticky checkbox is ticked, on next login it is not remembered. You have to tick and untick options in Remember... dialogue box repeatedly to achieve this effect. Please let me know if this has been disposed of. (2) Buggy themes: At times, I've encountered themes for E16 that were buggy but I found this out the hard way. A theme that comes to mind is AquaX. With this particular one, I just couldn't configure E the way I wanted it. More specifically I couldn't get rid of the border of the minimise icon bar. First, I thought it was a bug with E or corrupt configuration files. However, when I changed themes, all was well. So this raises the following questions. -- Should there be validation/check of buggy themes and should they be allowed? -- How should E respond when loading buggy themes? -- Should there a log of events and errors when processing a theme for debugging purposes and to inform users? My £0.02 in ironing out issues before the final release. It's really good to see the E homepage get a facelift by the way :-) With regards.
