I appreciate the concerns, but I think that this is a non-issue. Not wanting to flame-war or anything like it, it is simply worth saying that the sluggishness is purely because we are publishing accross SSH to a slow server (sf.net) no other reason. Ask any get-e editor - try the open demo on rectang.com. Hosting locally is very fast, very very fast - much quicker than any database driven system that I have tried (on similar specs). Thus moving an XSM instance to the same server as e.org would be published would have the same or better performance than the above mentioned speedy instances.
