And how long before the versions of auto* we're using are no longer 
supported by the distros? How long till we _have_ to upgrade.

If people are willing to look into it now why not let them. If kwo can 
get it to work with _both_ old and new then who gives a fuck, lets put 
it in.

If people are having issues with the new stuff maybe they should speak 
up with more then just, oh it's busted so I remove it. He's already 
asked once for more info but I haven't seen any.

Covering our eyes and sticking out heads in the sand isn't going to make 
it go away. We either need to figure it out or ditch auto*. I really 
can't see the latter happening anytime soon.
