about tabs vs spaces, I would prefer spaces. We all have different text editors, configured in some ways. Not mentionning all other people that do not develop on e and want to see the sources. That imply that a source code using tabs will look horrible to the reader if the text editor is not configured with the correct number of spaces for a tabulation. other thoughts ?
