I think that the community. if it exists, should be involved!!! Then if raster doesn't mind the e users opinion and does what he belivies right, it isn't very important. But blog, write the plans and the projects in ml on the site on blogs where u want. Many users are tired to see that it changed nothing and that the the topic in ml are the same afrter years of developement. E is a great project but the world doesn't wait it...
My opinion it isn't important. I'm nothing for e project but i'm sure that other users and developers, like me, maybe won't support e for the future. Remember where there isn't a good community, there aren't new good developer and the projects fail with the passing of time...
