Um, let me see if I got this straight.

We have had a big flame war, er I mean discussion about changing EFL to
be LGPL;

some people are vehement about making the change;

some people oppose the change vehemently;

no one got their mind changed one way or another;

it has been pointed out repeatedly that due to these circumstances and
others it will be impossible / extremely hard to change anyway, whether
we wanted to or not;

Now you will be dragging us kicking and screaming into this LGPL
conversion no matter what?

Just create a quick license fork and save us all the pain. Or drop it
and put all this effort into writing code.

I'll contribute to BSD code if I feel like it and be happy with the
project owners choice of license. I'll contribute to GPL/LGPL code if I
feel like it and be happy with the project owners choice of license.
I'll contribute to Beerware code if I feel like it and be happy with the
project owners choice of license.

What I am not happy with is divisive efforts to go on a holy war to
change the license. It just wastes our time and creates bad blood.
What little benefit there may or may not be is just not worth the
endless bickering.
