Don't misunderstand me, I'd surely prefer paying a member of the E development team but... 1) Any E developer is already an E developer. It would not be a WORK to complete for him, it would just become an incentive. And since he already works on E, maybe the incentive would change nothing for him afterall. 2) When I rent a coder, he gets paid ONLY if he finished the work perfectly and only if he manages to do it into a certain timeline. So, it's a very strict and secure approach for me, the one who pays. If any E developer is interested in this kind of approach, then welcome, I'll prefer to pay a member... but I strongly doubt anyone would accept to be paid only if the goal was 100% achieved, after the achievment of the work and only if he did it in time! 3) I think people already coding on their own prefer to do it because they love it, simply not because someone pays them. On the other hand, I'm an Architect and am busy all day long, lucky me I find some time to manage OpenGEU at least. But I cannot code myself. If I could, I think this would become the end of my Architect studies and works... I'd code all daylong for E. Since I can't, I'll so it another way. 4) In rentacoder there are a lot of very skilled coders from disadvantaged countries, able of achieving impressing code goals for very few money, I already had experience in this, I know what I'm talking about. That said, of course I'd prefer to pay an E17 coder or more than one to do this work in a deadline. About the ProFUSION thing, if they think they can do it, why on earth don't we set up this thing? I know of a lot of people who would certainly donate to have tangible progresses in E. So, that said, I won't rent a coder for some days, I'll wait for answers.
