If I was not already buried under the TODO list from hell.  I'm mostly
just pointing out my concern at the early design stage, so that those
that ARE working on it don't assume that a 'net connection will be
available at a critical point in time - when you are lost in the middle
of nowhere and need to find the way home.

On the other hand, I do want to eventually see an EFL version of the
sorts of stuff I run on my smart phone.  When the time comes that I can
have some time for it, I'll no doubt pitch in and lend a hand.

Right now I'm working on what might be a predecessor project that might
eventually grow up to be the smart phone system I want.  This project
is likely to have stuff to contribute to EFL.
