Hi all,
as discussed in the other thread we seems to agree on the fact that we need
more styles (for widgets and texts) in elementary. Imo this is a big issue
atm and I think should be fixed asap,
so I'm starting here a list of things I miss while using elm.

Frame styles:
"embossed", "graven", "detached" (not sure about the English term)

Background style:
"alternate" (that can fit over the background default style)

Entry tags:
<hilight> <title> <subtitle> <alert> <name> <val> <bigger> <smaller> ...
other ??
<red> <green> <blue> <cyan> <yellow> <orange> <magenta> (I need those for a
git gui I'm working on. I need red, green and blue to highlight the diff
output, and they should fit the bg)

Icon styles:
lots, lots and lots of new standard icons !
(that MUST respect the fd.org naming convention)

Popup styles:
"error", "warning", "info", "wait"

Button:
"primary", "danger" (ex: the first with blue bg and the latter with red bg)

Another idea is to provide some data inside the theme that the user can
read:
* the theme "darknessy" (light or dark)
* 2 color values used in the theme (so that the user can use the main
colors of the theme)
* theme default font sizes ??
* other ??

Please provide bits you missed so that we can agree on a congruent list of
additions to be made.
All this shouldn't be too much work (without counting icons), I can put
some effort on this task.
