I do continuous packaging for openSUSE with open build service 
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/X11:Enlightenment:Nightly, i can 
add some more distro's if it is requested. So i don't have a issue i 
think it is better to have frequent smaller releases then less frequent 
big ones, Qt for example also uses a 3ish month cycle. There haven't 
been many significant packaging changes from 1.8 to 1.9 and i think my 
laptop probably has less issues with efl 1.9 and e19 then efl 1.8 and e18
