Stop making things personal. I've stayed relatively quiet with you questioning my professional integrity earlier in this thread, but I guess I shouldn't have. You need to understand that: 1. When people talk about your patches/design decisions they are not talking about you. 2. People reply because they care about the quality of the project, and they will continue to reply and criticize when needed. 3. You can be wrong. 4. The fact that you've been given a task by someone does not by any means mean it'll get into the codebase. It has to be good and sensible. 5. You are making it damn hard for me (others?) to want to help you. As for this specific matter, this was a cheap-man's inheritance implemented for object items. Inheritance is already solved and made redundant by Eo.
