I figured out that mingw wanted the path to eolian_cxx to allow "cross-generation". The story does not end here though. It now barks with: 02:59:51 make[2]: *** No rule to make target 'lib/ecore/ecore_poll.eo.hh', needed by 'all'. Stop.
