i think you need to take that record that is spinning in your head and try
another one. no one said anything of the sort or even close. i already said
that in my last email... try reset that impression

and we're just talking amongst ourselves about what we are doing... so what?
are we no longer allowed to do this? when did this new rule appear?

did you follow this thread at all? go back and re-read it. that has been
discussed (use e as the login manager). we were just having another chat. that
chat was already had an no one disagreed on the direction. long-term and big
picture ESPECIALLY for wayland it's the sanest path. we're having another
side-discussion here amongst devs.

both matter. we are not slaves to users. we give up a lot of our time for them
for free. so we prioritize. if he have something for users that we hate... you
can bet that it'd be the end of development. on the other side it's nice to
make something other people like and use.

but stop that repeating record that this is what we're telling USERS to do.
maybe the want to and can do it for now. maybe use entrance. for wayland we
have no solution at all at this point, so do this or find some other solution
until such a time as we do have one.
