Selected changes since e16.6-pre5:

Added new menu generation script that should find GNOME2/KDE3 apps too.
- Not default yet. Invoke $EROOT/scripts/e_gen_menu.new to try it out.
Minor bug fixes to maximise code.
- Spanning Xinerama screens now requires "xinerama".
Fixed focus list not always being closed when it should be.
Removed various config file variants (*.{rh,kde,nokde,gmc,nogmc}.cfg).
Introduced IPC command abbreviations.
Avoid losing window (remembered) settings.
GNOME(1) hint support now disabled by default.
Implemented _NET_WORKAREA, making kuickshow, among others, behave.
- Patch from Roger Luethi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
Attempted to sort out weirdness with ...e_session-XXXXXX.clients.?.
- Not entirely sure about this - please yell if it causes trouble.

The pre6 rh9 binary RPM on SF now has GNOME(1) and KDE(1) hint support
disabled. One consequence of this is that only Epplets compiled from CVS
will work as intended (stickyness, stacking, etc.).
Does anybody have good reasons why support for these obsolete hints
should be enabled?

I hope nothing serious pops up and this will be the last e16.6-pre.
If something does, I intend to get it fixed and put out a new -pre ASAP.

/Kim
