You tips helped bringing back the pager. All my themes that I have caused this problem except the default themes of enlightenment. I can interchange between the default themes and the pager is still around. But when I install any new themes, the pager immediately disappears.
Just to check that I'm seeing the same problem that you do - Can you avoid "losing" the pager by moving it 5-10 pixels away from the edge before switching the theme?
