I'd be very happy just to be able to use the freshmeat theme without the extra, but simply removing the dock directory did not seem to help. Any hint on theme tweaking, or suggestion for another aqua theme ?
Sorry I forgot to answer the other questions. To get rid of the top bar go into special fx settings (right click on desktop) and uncheck 'show desktop dragbar'. As for the other annoyance (dock) does right clicking on it work to make it disappear?
