I have added this font to the font path of the X Server and E and reloaded X and E but still the font does not load and as a result the root menu shows nothing. What is the normal procedure for adding new fonts? There are many other themes which would pose the same problem.
This is a very sleepless night and perseverance pays. It seems I'd neglected to run mkfontdir and mkfontscale in the font directory. E and Eterm are using the new font now and this is how things look. :)

The only question remaining is are there any other decent fonts for Eterm? This one is either too big or too small. What fonts do you use and where can I find them?
