Yes. I found smooth as well as you suggested. They are quite nice and also quite readable. The one that really caught my fancy was lime as I like small fonts. See if you like it too.

Thanks for the initial inspiration! It seems I've hacked around quite a bit since my first post on this thread.

Now, what I need is a decent console font that loads the bootup text. Vga default8x9 just isn't exciting anymore :)
