question, is there any specific configuration file to edit to have access to the fonts I just extracted from the tarball?
Thanks for posting the themes and fonts, but I'm not quite sure I know how to have access to the fonts, although I know E will find the themes right away...
Thanks, John C.
The tarball produces a folder called myfonts containing all the fonts. Move that folder to where your X server stores fonts and add that location or fontpath to your /etc/X11/XF86Config[-4]. This location may be something like those below.
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/ /usr/share/fonts/
Then go into the directory 'myfonts' and run `mkfontdir` and `mkfontscale` and restart your XServer to load new fonts. Now view the file fonts.dir in the 'myfonts' folder. The second column for each line contains the keyword that you must feed to Eterm. So for the line which says 'mints-mild.pcf.gz mints-mild' you can do `Eterm -F mints-mild` to get Eterm to use that font. You can of course combine that with other parameters to Eterm to produce the desired effect.
Thanks to Didier Casse's message on the online mailing list archive for helping me get this working in the first instance.
