I'm glad my tutorial has been useful to you. ;-P

efm is not that good anymore to be used nowadays. I've used it and it's
quite primitive and that's why you can no longer find it around. And even
if you manage to place your icons with efm, you can't switch on the
ripples effect/waves effect and have the icons at the same time.

The tutorial above enables you to have both the icons and the special
effects together without altering your background.

evidence turns out to be kick-ass compared to efm.

I had it some time ago but I deleted it since in the end it wasn't that
good. I switched to Nautilus ;-( althought sometimes I used evidence. But
evidence is still in it's very experimental stage so sometimes nautilus is
faster.

Anyway I do not used file managers so often, I prefer command line!
