I tried using e_util_app_edit to fix one or two eaps, but that didn't
do the trick.
Ideas / Suggestions?

try to search and delete all .eap.cache.cfg under ~/.e/e/
(eg. find ~/.e/e -name .eap.cache.cfg -exec rm -f {} \; )
then restart E
