note - by doing this you lose all information about there being 2 screens.
dialogs will pop up half way between 2 screens if they are centered - the shelf
too for example will be in the middle of both screens by default, etc. etc.
etc. e just behaves as IF there really was only 1 big screen. these are also
command-line options because they are intended for testing purposes - not for
end-user use. thus they are not friendly :)
