Hi all,
I have a strange feeling I'm hijacking this list for something I
shouldn't, but it's related to e17 so I thought I might as well go for
it. Rap my knuckles if I've been a bad boy.
I'm going to redesign my e17xplanet script for creating XPlanet
wallpapers in e17 (http://www.squaregoldfish.co.uk/software/e17xplanet).
Since it's quite likely that at least some users will be lurking on this
list, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for
improvements etc. If so, please let me know, either here or at my email
address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
Basically, I want to make the following improvements:
* Put most of the configuration in a separate file, so it can be changed
without restarting the script.
* Handle multiple screens
* Add the ability to detect high load or specific processes so it won't
run if the machine is likely to be busy, or if updates will cause
glitches (e.g. while watching movies).
Please add your suggestions. I don't guarantee I'll include them
straight away or at all, but I'll give it a shot.
